Drawing on my background in human-rights training, I consider education a tool of social transformation. I see my job as an educator to provide students with the tools to interpret, explain and intervene in the world around them, and to give them the confidence to speak and write incisively about key contemporary issues of social and spatial justice.

My teaching experience is focused in Human Geography, Migration and Border Studies, and Global/International Studies.
